Brindisi Guest House
Sunset Cliffs, CA
A former artist studio is thoughtfully transformed into a contemporary guest house. The studio was an addition to a Sunset Cliffs residence originally designed by mid-century architect Paul McKim in 1967. The remodel balances modern living with respect for the home’s architectural heritage, preserving the character and proportions of the original structure while introducing clean contemporary finishes and updated functionality. Carefully integrated into the existing residence, the project creates a quiet, light-filled retreat that reflects the timeless simplicity of Southern California modernism.
